Shaved Steak: My hands down favorite cut of meat

With summer coming round, I’m trying to boost my list of go-to easy dinner ideas that are quick and tasty.

Ground beef is everyone’s staple - I know it’s mine!  But I’m here to tell you about my new obsession:  Shaved Steak.

Our shaved steak is straight up amazing.

It thaws quick and cooks within five minutes.  It’s tender, leaner than ground beef, it’s versatile and it’s super yummy!

I grab a couple of pounds, cook it all up and can use it all week.

Cooking Directions:

Heat pan to medium heat.

Add to pan 1 tablespoon olive oil or 1 tablespoon butter (I like using butter for flavor, you may find you like to cook without using anything depending on the amount of fat in the shaved steak).

Add shaved steak to the heated pan one slice at a time.

Season with salt and pepper.

Cook for about two minutes then flip over and cook two more minutes or until your desired level of brown.

Making sandwiches now?  Cover with cheese, allow to melt and slide onto bread, roll or wrap with a spatula and sauteed onions and peppers.

Save in the fridge and use in your favorite sandwich, quesadilla, wrap, fajita, stir fry or salad.
